* 01:17:38	Franco Augusto:	To carry out its mission in a concrete and operational way, GTA develops around 6 specific lines of action that organize the annual objectives. By it's lines of actions, the GTA tends to:

[A] Document : Foster platforms and spaces of exchange, mutual learning, documentation and visibility of the project amongst existing alternatives.
[B] Disseminate : Propagate the idea and visibility and process of the GTA among different media
[C] Connect : Create a space for already existing networks to connect and engage cross-sectorally.
[D] Stimulate : Stimulating new networking and weaving. Enable and stimulate new networks / confluences of alternatives in countries or regions that do not have them, by providing key lessons from current GTA's Weavers.
[E] Support : Develop strategies and actions of solidarity and support with allied projects and networks
[F] Advocate : Where necessary, join other global processes to advocate or campaign on urgent matters relevant to Alternatives

* the AltMap, where we are mapping the "GTA Ecosystem", now Endorsers and soon Stories, etc. See here: https://map.globaltapestryofalternatives.org/

* as a tool for GTA's Weavers to document their own members/alternatives. Since this is an open source tool, could be re-implemented by Endorsers (like the case of Ecoversities, see here: source.ecoversities.org)

* 01:32:17	Urvi:	Lyla June (Diné/Tsétsêhéstâhese), Indigenous public speaker, artist, scholar and community organizer will discuss native food systems in pre-Columbian times in this webinar on the 15th of January!

* 01:43:08	Anwar "sastro" Ma'ruf (EN):	first, thank you, I am very happy and listening to sharing from our friends and comrade. Many of the things I used to think about now, are now part of the GTA network.

second, how is the progress of the various programs that have been run by GTA. How can we accelerate various focus issues or problems faced by the grassroots who are increasingly impoverished, ignorant, or still co-opted from regime capitalism?

* 01:44:45	Ashish Kothari (Eng):	Sastro, I think what GTA could do to help with that is to put more and more such grassroots initiatives in touch with other, so greater global learning and solidarity can be built; and work through its weavers like MASSA to reach from grassroots to global and back

* 01:45:56	Andre - Ecoversities:	Thank you Franco... Uniting the virtual world of alternatives 🔥💞

* 02:24:10	Vasudha Varadarajan (EN):	I will have to leave now, thank you for organising this wonderful session ❤️, will follow the rest in through the recording

* 02:24:17	Donnie Maclurcan (he/him) EN:	Thanks Vasudha

* 02:24:32	Friederike Habermann (any) EN:	update NOW – NET: We are applying as a Weaver for the German speaking are. We are a network of movements for radical transformative eonomies. Unfortunatley, our websites https://now-net.org/ and https://waswirtunkoennen.jetzt/ are still in German only. https://now-net.org/ might have English and spanish any day, it just needs to be inserted by the programmer. https://waswirtunkoennen.jetzt/ will take longer; it is presenting many practices that are according to the principles of NOW: Dismantling the market, democratizing the society, and creating commons.

* 02:24:42	Friederike Habermann (any) EN:	For those who do not know us yet at all: 3 years ago some folk representing the strongest radical movements for transformative economies in Germany gathered together to find out what we have in common – this is how we recognized these ways.

* 02:25:21	Urvi:	Azril, you are on mute

* 02:29:03	Donnie Maclurcan (he/him) EN:	How to keep Assembly active between meetings?

* 02:29:07	Ashish Kothari:	Thanks, Azril, do pl. send us information and contacts for these groups/ initiatives … or request them to write to us … they can be connected to PeDAGoG

* 02:29:24	Donnie Maclurcan (he/him) EN:	How to keep Assembly active between meetings?

* 02:30:40	Donnie Maclurcan (he/him) EN:	The PGI could create an Offers and Needs Market template for groups to share their offers and needs with each other.

* 02:30:52	Ashish Kothari:	Perhaps it would be good for endorsers/weavers to share updates and events on the elist, between meetings? Or will that be potentially too many emails?

* 02:31:02	Paula Tejón Carbajal:	Maybe it already exist but having an interactive platform to share and exchange on an ongoing basis could help e.g Skype, slack or that type of platforms

* 02:31:20	Andre - Ecoversities:	Mmm maybe weaving between the people that come? Introducing people that you think they can have similar interests. One or two meetings in between assembly es... So we can get to know each other

* 02:31:25	Hans Tabiola:	some suggestions:

1. Embarking on joint campaigns/ advocacies
2. collaborative research and publishing

* 02:31:57	Vera Kozak (she/her):	Endorsers and weavers could collect their ongoing processes by a certain deadline, send them to core team who can spread 1 monthly list of activities/updates for everyone who wants to sign up for these check ins?

* 02:32:09	Dylan Gibson (EN):	Agreed that having a platform or system for updates/needs/offers/discussions would be useful.

* 02:32:14	Franco Augusto:	Reminder: All of you, Assembly members, should be able to communicate openly using the Assembly E-list. The address to reach out everyone is the following: global-tapestry-alternatives-assembly@lists.riseup.net

* 02:32:14	Mauricio del Villar (ES):	One way to keep the assembly alive is to maintain contact between the different members by means of concrete and simple actions that allow us to link and get to know each other.
