The GTAGlobal Tapestry of Alternatives project carries out many of its initiatives through digital media. For this, we always seek to prioritize the use of free open source software tools, autonomous, communal and distributed technological infrastructures.
Our operations are largely possible with the following hacktivist organizations and open projects, all aligned with the GTA's ethical-political vision:
Riseup: a volunteer-run collective providing secure email, email lists, a VPN service, online chat, and other online services. This organization was launched in 1000 by activists in Seattle protest. We use it for most of our mailing list and official mail account.
